During 2018 your hosts Simon and Norma will draw on friends and contacts made over many years working at the top of the hospitality industry by inviting a series of guest chefs to bring a range of fine dining experiences to the Greyfriar in Chawton.
On Monday 19th February, we are delighted to announce that Bradley Walford will head up the brigade in our kitchen to prepare a stunning 5-course dining experience. Bradley began his career working with Gary Rhodes. Following this Bradley worked at Dinner with Heston Blumenthal before joining head chef Ashley Palmer-Watts’ team at The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. In 2012 Bradley moved over to Launceston Place working alongside head chef Tim Allen. After three and a half years, four AA Rosette’s and a Michelin star later, Bradley was appointed head chef at The Chancery. Click here to book a table.
Thursday 19th of April the talented chef patron of Stovell’s in Chobham Fernando Stovell, will be joining us for one night only. Fernando came to the UK from Mexico and studied catering at Westminster College. He went on to work in acclaimed kitchens from the two Michelin Star The Capital to the private members’ Cuckoo and Wellington Clubs. At Stovell’s, his 16th Century Tudor farmhouse in Chobham, diners enjoy contemporary European cuisine with Mexican accents, using sustainably sourced, local produce.
